As for the fall, I actually went through tree tops and bounced through branches on the way down. I have no idea how I walked away, but I was able to climb to the top of that hill to call for help. I even walked around for a little while once my people got to me. One of my guys was a paramedic, and he told me later that I was in shock, and that the adrenaline kept me moving. That makes sense, because once I got to the hospital, I was in some pain, and I was laid up for 3 weeks after that.

Thanks for participating, Joe! My husband also went into security in the military straight out of high school. You could probably swap some interesting stories. Only if you consider hiding in the bushes, hoping to get a good video or picture of somebody doing something they shouldn’t be doing
Seriously, it was a great job. The problem was that the income wasn’t steady. I was either so busy that I had to hire help to cover paper service, etc., or I would go weeks without a paycheck.
