Wow! Thanks for the comments!! Very encouraging. I appreciate it very much. I believe there are still a lot of folks out there who read blogs randomly, or just bookmark them and go back sporadically. So, I thought I'd try to introduce them to RSS and subscription.

@KoTa - It's coming, I promise. I'm working out the details and a way to deliver it now.

@ShariV - Thanks so much. Send me the link and I'll return the favor

I wrote a post about how to subscribe to an RSS a couple of weeks back, complete with screen shots of the entire process using Bloglines. But I neglected to go into detail with why. Your post covers that aspect very well, so I'm going to go back and link to this post of yours as a related article. This is great information, especially for the newbie blogger.

As soon as I started reading daily more than 5 blogs, I switched to Feeds, it made my life much more easier. So now, I'm a subscribed reader of about 40 blogs, which I don't have to go through couple of times a day, just to check if they have updated or not. My main reason for using Feeds is that it is extremely comfortable for no-PC users. I'm a PDA user.

Unfortunately some blogs somehow don't have feeds, then I usually add them to my favorites and in a while contact them about it, explaining how useful feeds are. Now, all I have to do is direct them here to read.

By the way, I've been a subscriber here for quite some time, so I'll be one of those, who's waiting for something special =]
